ZEBRAS: Sustainable Composting for a Zero Waste Future

The ZEBRAS Project (Zero Waste through Bokashi Composting to Produce Compost for Healthy Soil) aims to promote sustainable waste management and environmental awareness through innovative composting practices. The project focuses on introducing Bokashi composting, an effective and accessible method that transforms organic waste into nutrient-rich compost, contributing to healthier soil and a more sustainable ecosystem.

Within the scope of the project, partners will develop educational resources, training materials and an e-learning platform to support vocational education and training (VET) stakeholders, farmers, students and local communities. These outputs will provide practical knowledge on organic waste management and sustainable agricultural practices.

By combining innovative learning approaches, digital tools and international collaboration, the ZEBRAS Project seeks to strengthen green skills, encourage environmentally responsible behavior and support the transition toward a zero-waste and climate-conscious society.
